Happy Endings – Episode 2: “The Plan”
Opening Montage:
The episode opens with a split-screen Zoom call between Tiffany, Victoria, and Jenny. They’re recapping their audacious plan to open a massage parlor in Boca Raton, questioning their sanity:
“Are we really going to do this?”
The conversation covers the basics: who’s going to contact Lulu, their next steps, and the potential challenges. Jenny volunteers to make the call to Lulu, signaling the first official step in their unconventional journey.

Scene 1: Road Trip & Reflection
The trio drives to Miami to meet Lulu at the College of Universal Massage. During the drive, the conversation shifts to family and how they plan to keep this venture a secret. Flashbacks show each woman’s college dating escapades with wildly different outcomes—awkward moments, bad decisions, and an eventual realization that they never wanted a “traditional” life.
Scene 2: Meeting Lulu
The College of Universal Massage is not what they expect—it’s a nondescript building in a strip mall. They meet Lulu, a savvy and slightly intimidating middle-aged woman with a no-nonsense demeanor. The women explain their encounter with Wendy and their interest in opening a parlor in Boca. Lulu sizes them up, then drops the plan:
Lulu: “I’ll handle your licenses and certifications, but you’ll need to learn massage basics first. Let’s start here.”
She leads them to a hidden door behind a bookshelf that opens into a massive training room filled with women practicing on massage tables.
Scene 3: Lessons in Massage
The trio is introduced to Lucy, a quirky woman in her 60s learning massage for a second career, who serves as their guide. Lulu explains that beyond massages, there’s an art to understanding clients’ unspoken needs.
They’re introduced to “tools of the trade,” including a box of dildos.
Victoria: (picking up a black dildo) “What the hell is this for?”
Lulu: “Lesson one…know your client. Big dicks, little dicks, fat dicks, hairy dicks—they’re just dicks.”
The scene is a visual and comedic whirlwind as Lulu explains the importance of client psychology, boundaries, and discretion.
Jenny: “What if they try to touch us?”
Lulu: “Don’t let them. They’ll always try. You smack their hand—like this.” (demonstrates)
Cue “Relax” by Frankie Goes to Hollywood as a training montage begins.
Scene 4: On the Road Again
Driving back to Boca, they’re still buzzing from the absurdity of their lesson. They discuss advertising strategies and notice a massive billboard for “Dragon Hands Massage”—their future nemesis.
Suddenly, a mannequin flies off a truck in front of them, and they run over it. The visual gag escalates when they realize an arm is stuck in the wheel well.
Scene 5: Frank’s Shop
Panicked, they take the car to Frank’s auto shop, where we meet Frank—a gruff but lovable mechanic who speaks fluent Chinese, thanks to his wife. He introduces his eccentric assistant, “Little Stevie” Segal, a 5’1” man with slicked-back hair and a ponytail.
Frank helps them remove the mannequin arm and jokes about their wild story. During their conversation, they mention opening a spa, and Frank gives them advice:
Frank: “You better do it right, or you’ll end up on the wrong side of Dragon Hands.”
Scene 6: The Perfect Location
The women meet Carl, a flamboyant real estate agent, who takes them on a whirlwind tour of potential spa locations. A montage shows comically unsuitable options—spaces that are too small, too big, or downright sketchy. Finally, they find the perfect spot.
They bring in Alejandro, a charming gay Cuban contractor who knows everyone in Boca. He agrees to handle the renovations, but when they mention needing a table shower, he’s confused.
Alejandro: “What the hell is a table shower?”
Jenny: (deadpan) “To cleanse the body, of course.”
Scene 7: Name That Spa
At dinner, the women brainstorm potential names over sake at a Hot Pot restaurant. Suggestions range from cheesy to ridiculous:
- Victoria: “Victoria’s Little Secret!”
- Tiffany: “Breakfast with Tiffany!”
- Jenny: “I Dream of Jeannie!”
The sake flows, and laughter ensues as they debate options. Days later, the discussion continues. They eventually agree on “Happily Ever After Spa” and toy with the idea of wearing princess costumes for a unique gimmick.
Scene 8: Inspiration Strikes
That night, Victoria flips through TV channels and stumbles upon an episode of Charlie’s Angels called “The Blue Angels,” where the Angels go undercover at a massage parlor.
The next day at lunch, she pitches the idea:
Victoria: “Who are the most badass ladies on TV? Charlie’s Angels! Let’s call it…3 Angels Massage!”
The group loves the idea, and they toast to their new venture.
Final Scene: The Grand Opening
The episode ends with the three women standing in front of their newly renovated spa, the 3 Angels Massage logo shining brightly above them. Jenny flips the “Open” sign as the screen fades to black.
Cut to credits.
